Job summary

Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or RN license with multi-state compact privileges; BLS required.
• ACLS and PALS certification required or within 90 days; TNCC and ENPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process by demonstrating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Teach patient/significant other appropriate health information and share written materials.
• Perform direct patient care following established procedures and standards.
• Assist patients and families with empathy; maintain confidentiality and privacy.
• Assist in orientation/training of new employees and support staff in assignments.
• Cross-train to cover additional duties to ensure seamless patient care.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in handling questionable findings or concerns.
