Job summary

Good Samaritan IA Estherville is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The Day shift covers 36 hours per week, assisting residents with daily living activities and basic health care under RN supervision.

You will support vital signs monitoring, feeding, mobility, and personal care while following care plans and infection control policies. Join a not-for-profit committed to quality care in a Christian environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16 with CNA experience preferred.
• State CNA certification required within four months of start date.
• Annual continuing education minimum of 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record and monitor vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing.
• Support resident meals and hydration, and assist with dining.
• Follow care plans and infection prevention policies, and use PPE as required.
• Document interactions and participate in wellness and recreational activities.
