Qualifications

Active CNA/LNA certification in good standing.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Minimum 2 years of CNA experience in Long-Term Care (LTC).

Responsibilities

Direct Patient Care: Assist staff nurses with treatment delivery, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility routines for residents in accordance with care plans.
Patient Comfort & Safety: Provide patient- and family-centered care to ensure comfort, dignity, safety, and a positive overall experience for residents and their loved ones.
Clinical Support: Assist healthcare providers and nursing staff with basic clinical procedures, routine care tasks, and room upkeep.
Observation & Reporting: Monitor patient status, note changes in physical or emotional condition, and promptly report updates to the supervising staff nurse or charge nurse.
Team Collaboration: Maintain open communication with multidisciplinary healthcare team members and adhere strictly to facility procedures and safety guidelines.
