Job summary

Columbus Hospice of Georgia and Alabama is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and maintain patient hygiene under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The role requires a valid CNA certificate, at least one year of experience, CPR and influenza vaccination, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, depending on experience and policy.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate from college, technical school or equivalent training program.
• Minimum one year recent experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Influenza vaccine during influenza season (October-March)
• CPR Certification and valid driver’s license with satisfactory MVR

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to increase comfort and maintain hygiene.
• Report significant changes in patient conditions to the Registered Nurse.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of patient information and operations.
• Take vital signs and assist with plan of care.
• Document care provided and maintain patient charts.
• Attend hospice training and comply with policy.
