Job summary

Journey Hospice, serving Central PA, seeks a dedicated Full-Time CNA to support hospice patients at home, in facilities, or other settings. The role offers competitive pay ($20–$23/hour) based on experience, plus a robust benefits package and paid time off.

Responsibilities include providing personal care, documenting observations, and collaborating with the RN and IDT to fulfill the patient’s plan of care. Must have PA CNA certification and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and light housekeeping to hospice patients.
• Observe, document, and report patient status to the RN.
• Work as part of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
• Deliver compassionate care aligned with the patient’s care plan.
