Job summary

River Pointe assisted living in Provo, UT is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies. The role supports nurses and other staff in daily living activities, mobility, dining service, and documentation.

This non-exempt, hourly position requires CPR/BLS, a valid high school diploma or equivalent, and a Food Handler Permit where applicable. Prior SNF/ALF experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• CNA license or in good standing (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Food Handler Permit when applicable; no disciplinary action against certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide certified nursing assistant services per care plans and supervisor directions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and transportation as needed.
• Coordinate dining services, assist with meals, document intake and weights.
• Maintain skin integrity; report changes to nurse or supervisor.
• Document care activities, flowsheets, and progress per policies.
• Protect residents' confidentiality and follow infection control policies.
