Job summary

River Pointe Assisted Living in Provo, UT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Department. The role supports nurses and other staff, assisting residents with activities of daily living according to care plans and facility procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with dining services, weight tracking, documentation, and adherence to safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current Food Handler Permit (when applicable)
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living Facility: At least one year of CNA experience in a SNF/ALF preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assists resident with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting.
• Coordinates dining room services at mealtimes, set-up, delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake.
