Preferred Care Management in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide vital support across inpatient and long-term care settings. You will assist nursing staff with daily care tasks and help ensure residents' comfort and wellbeing.

The role requires a CNA certification, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including ICU settings if needed. Previous experience in inpatient or long‑term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification.

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Observing residents and reporting health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Taking care of residents' personal hygiene (bed bath, shaving, etc.).
• Setting up meal trays and documenting food and fluid intake.
• Feeding residents and providing nutritional supplements as needed.
• Making beds and keeping residents' spaces clean and tidy.
• Transporting residents within the facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
