Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team serving Brookings and surrounding South Dakota communities. This role offers flexible schedules with PRN, part-time, or full-time contracts and shifts including DAYS, EVES, and NOC.

You will deliver compassionate, hands-on resident care in long-term care and assisted living settings. Competitive pay of $24-$26 per hour, paid weekly, with 24/7 on-call support and eligibility-based health insurance, Aflac

Qualifications

Active SD CNA certification or eligible by reciprocity/endorsement
Must be at least 18 years old
Previous CNA experience preferred
Commitment to facility policies and safety procedures

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and personal hygiene
Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions or well-being to nursing staff
Record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations as assigned
Assist with meals, feeding and hydration per care plans and dietary requirements
Provide emotional support and promote residents’ comfort, dignity and independence
Follow infection prevention protocols and safety procedures
Document care provided and communicate important information to nursing staff and team
