Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide essential, hands-on care to residents in our skilled nursing community. You will support residents’ daily needs, maintain a safe, clean environment, and collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to ensure high-quality, respectful care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with transfers, lifting, repositioning, and mobility as needed
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition and care provided
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents
• Report accidents, incidents, or concerns involving residents, staff, or visitors
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of required safety equipment
