Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in a home-like setting. You will assist with daily activities, observe residents closely, and document care with accuracy.

You’ll work within an interdisciplinary team to uphold safety, dignity, and comfort, supporting residents and families while maintaining HIPAA guidelines and a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• CNA role requires compassionate, resident-focused caregiving.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Excellent observation and communication throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical and emotional care to residents, including personal hygiene, transferring, and lifting
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and meal support
• Accurately observe, document, and report resident care, conditions, and concerns
• Communicate effectively during shift handoffs with oncoming and outgoing staff
• Follow resident care plans and maintain a safe, respectful living environment
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas
• Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and assist with tours as needed
• Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
