Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential, hands-on care in our St. Clair skilled nursing community.

You will support residents’ daily needs, assist with ADLs, transfers, and mobility, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. We offer flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts, a supportive team, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with transfers, lifting, repositioning, and mobility.
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition.
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents.
• Follow safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
