Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to support residents in our skilled nursing community. You will provide essential, hands-on care, help with ADLs, ensure safety, and collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to deliver respectful, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with transfers, lifting, repositioning, and mobility as needed.
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition and care provided.
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents.
• Report accidents, incidents, or concerns involving residents, staff, or visitors.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of required safety equipment.
