Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer lights and telephone with good guest relations
• Pass trays and ice; transport patients
• Maintain clean linens and rooms; dispose of linens and trash properly
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Document care in patient records; obtain intake/output
• Assist with patient turning, bathroom needs, and Foley care
• Collect/transport specimens to lab; bedside reporting at shift change
• Collaborate with staff using rounding process
