Job summary

Buena-Park-Nursing-Center in Buena Park, CA is seeking a compassionate CNA for part-time or full-time roles to provide personal care, assist with mobility, and help residents with daily activities.

You will monitor residents, document changes, assist with meals, keep the environment clean, follow policies, and participate in training to maintain certification. Weekend shifts may be required and you will work closely with other healthcare staff to ensure comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Assist with transferring and positioning residents
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Follow state, federal, and facility policies and procedures
• Attend training and maintain certification
