Job summary

Century Park Associates is hiring part-time/resident care aides to deliver quality assisted living services. You will assist residents with daily activities, document care needs, and support meals and mobility. The role reports to the Resident Care Director in a community-focused environment.

We value patience, empathy, and a respectful, team-driven approach to caring for seniors. Prior CNA/Home Health Aide certification and CPR certification are preferred; shifts may vary, including PRN

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of senior services experience preferred.
• CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred; CPR certification required or obtained on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities per care plan.
• Read daily logs at the start of shift and monitor care needs.
• Perform rounds and verify residents' needs are met.
• Assist with clothing choices and maintain clean, dry apparel for residents.
• Help incontinent residents and keep clothing/linens clean.
• Aid ambulation with walkers, canes, or wheelchairs and assist during meals.
• Encourage participation in activities and assist with transfers as needed.
• Help with hair washing, bed making, and light housekeeping.
• Prepare residents for activities or appointments and support meal setup.
• Verify meal attendance and report changes to nurses or directors.
• Welcome new residents and assist with move-in adjustments.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and Century Park ethics.
