Candidates must obtain CNA certification and have a high school diploma or GED; at least 16 years old; facility may provide CNA training. This is a full-time, evening-shift position with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months.
• CNA training and certification provided by facility.
• Annual competency testing; minimum 12 hours continuing education.
• If applicable, registered with UAP Registry.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver with valid license and driving duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, range of motion and mobility.
• Aid with meals, hydration, and dining experiences.
• Document resident care and communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Support wellness and recreational programs; participate in committees as needed.
