Job summary

Qualifications

• Missouri: Current CNA certification
• Illinois: Current CNA certification
• Pennsylvania: Enrollment, or eligibility for enrollment within 120 days of completion of the training program, on the PA nurse aide registry
• Ability to communicate with residents
• Strong interest in person-centered care

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort and provides ADL care per scope of practice.
• Responds to call lights and requests; reports observations to the nurse.
• Assists with personal care and supports independence.
• Observes changing resident needs and reports to nurse.
• Participates in care/service plans to improve residents’ lives.
• Assists during mealtimes and feeds those needing full assistance.
• Builds relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Supports resident involvement in daily activities.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Documents care provided in clinical records; maintains a clean environment.
