Job summary

Legacy House of Spanish Fork is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our senior living team. You will provide hands-on care, support, and companionship to residents in a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, reporting changes to the nursing team, and following care plans. Requirements include CNA certification and CPR, with a high school diploma preferred; previous senior living experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Current CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; candidates working toward completion may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Assist residents with ambulation, mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and safety techniques.
• Take and report vital signs and communicate changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.
• Assist with medications as permitted by training, certification, and state regulations.
• Provide companionship, conversation, socialization, and emotional support to residents.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas, including changing bed linens and assisting with light housekeeping.
• Follow care plans, company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
