Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated nursing assistant to provide routine care in alignment with policies and as directed by the nursing leadership to ensure the highest quality resident care all times.

The role requires CNA licensure, a compassionate approach, ability to read/write/speak English, and the capacity to work harmoniously with staff and residents in a team-based environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with equal employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Demonstrated compassion and patience in resident care.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to facility policies and nursing procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions staff immediately.
• Make beds and tidy bedside/overbed areas.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and accessible.
