Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA license.
• At least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical experience during certification.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact with residents, families, visitors, and staff with tact.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned following facility policies, nursing care procedures, and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals to ensure correct recipient.
• Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables, and ensure water pitchers are clean and accessible.
• Perform other related duties as directed by Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
