Job summary

Castle Healthcare in Indiana seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident care and support with daily living activities. You will assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, and comfort while maintaining safety and dignity for all residents.

Responsibilities include vital sign checks, accurate recording of intake/output, and timely reporting to the nursing supervisor. The role requires strong English communication and current CNA and CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant per state law.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals, feeding, and providing fresh water and nourishment.
• Assist with personal hygiene incl. bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, shaves; help with bathroom trips.
• Assist residents with ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; document intake/output.
• Ensure resident comfort; answer call lights and report observations to nursing supervisor.
• Document actions with forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality; comply with HIPAA and applicable laws.
• Follow professional standards, policies, and local/federal regulations.
