Job summary

Castle Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care in a local Indiana facility. The role emphasizes assisting with daily activities, feeding, personal hygiene, mobility support, and vital sign monitoring to ensure resident health and safety.

The CNA will document care, respond to resident needs promptly, and uphold HIPAA and privacy standards while adhering to state guidelines and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR certification required.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding and provide fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Aid in personal hygiene tasks (bedpans, baths, showers, shampoos, shaves) and bathroom mobility.
• Assist with ambulation, turning and positioning of residents.
• Monitor vital signs and document intake/output.
• Address resident comfort, respond to call lights, and report observations to the nurse supervisor.
• Document actions in forms, logs and records.
• Protect privacy and comply with HIPAA and related laws.
• Follow professional standards and company policies, including regulatory requirements.
• Engage in ongoing learning and maintain licensure.
