Job summary

Jackson Memorial Long-Term Care Center, part of Jackson Health System, is a 180-bed skilled nursing facility in Miami, FL. The role is a full-time day shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) within a county public health trust setting dedicated to resident care and discharge planning.

The Certified Nursing Assistant performs basic nursing care, following unit policies and procedures, and supports residents with ADLs while maintaining dignity and safety in a licensed long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical duties as assigned by unit or hospital nursing leadership.
• Performs activities of daily living and range of motion with residents.
• Ensures residents have adequate supplies and a clean, orderly surroundings.
• Observes and reports unusual resident conditions to the Charge Nurse.
• Answers call lights promptly and assists residents with needs.
• Transports residents and assists with activities, therapies and appointments.
• Maintains residents' rights to dignity, freedom from abuse, neglect, and exploitation as required by law.
