Job summary

Mission Point Health Care seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant in Grandville, MI to provide quality nursing care that respects residents' rights and dignity. You will work within the care plan, assist with daily activities, and document care provided in PCC.

Requirements include a current Michigan CNA certification or eligibility to test within 4 months, plus preferred 1 year of long-term care or related healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or have completed a Michigan approved CNA training program and are eligible to test.
• Must be certified within 4 months of hire.
• One year of experience in the long-term care, hospice, or health care desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality.
• Attends to the individual needs of residents, including grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, and hygiene per care plan.
• Maintains resident comfort, privacy and dignity; tidy rooms and change bed linen as needed.
• Reports incidents of resident abuse or rights violations to supervisor.
• Provides care to maintain skin integrity and prevent pressure ulcers through turning and moisturization.
• Completes documentation of care provided in PCC and follows safety and infection control procedures.
