Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant or PCT program.
• Current CNA or Patient Care Tech certification required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Must be able to be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English, required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Precautions and OSHA Guidelines.
• Maintain an organized, neat, well stocked resident unit.
• Prepare and maintain observations and care records clearly and timely.
• Assist with admissions and orient families to the unit.
• Maintain a safe, secure, comfortable environment for residents.
• Provide daily report and organize work assignments.
