Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan provides resident-centered care on day shift under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, take vital signs, support nutrition and mobility, and follow infection prevention policies.

Responsibilities include documenting care, communicating changes to the charge nurse, and participating in wellness activities while maintaining a compassionate, Christian environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• CNA certification required or obtained within four months of date into the position.
• Annual continuing education credits required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transferring, mobility, range of motion, and daily activities.
• Document care and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Support meals, hydration, and psychosocial needs; maintain infection control.
