Job summary

Good Samaritan – Woodland in Brainerd, MN, is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time day shifts (6:00am–2:15pm) with a 62-hour bi-weekly schedule and rotating weekends/holidays. The role supports residents with daily living activities, vital signs, and care plans under an RN supervisor.

Eligible applicants may receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus; CNA certification and state registration are required or pursued within four months. Opportunity to join a dedicated care team in a 42-bed facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing required within four months of date into the position by training/endorsement. CNA training and certification provided by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with basic health care needs, vitals, hygiene, and mobility.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
