Job summary

The Miriam Hospital, part of Brown University Health, seeks a Nursing Assistant to support patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include personal care, daily living activities, documenting care in the EHR, and maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island Nursing Assistant license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Knowledge and skills to provide care across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients.
• Perform basic Nursing Assistant skills per RI guidance.
• Assist with activities of daily living and ambulation.
• Report unsafe conditions or hazards to RN or supervisor.
• Document patient care and data in the EHR.
