Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Good standing in the Kentucky state registry.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine residents' needs and ensure call lights are accessible.
• Provide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Explain procedures to residents and obtain cooperation.
• Assist with bowel and bladder care and meal intake documentation.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities; assist with transfers and positioning.
• Maintain bed linens, cleanliness of resident rooms, and infection control practices.
• Record vital signs and input/output; report changes to nurses or supervisors.
• Participate in in-services and staff meetings; uphold Residents' Rights policies.
