Job summary

Bowling Green Health & Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, VA is seeking a qualified CNA to join our team and deliver Care Beyond Compare through compassionate resident care.

As a CNA, you will provide individualized care, assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, monitor vital signs, engage residents in activities, and help maintain a safe, clean living environment while supporting the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered Virginia CNA certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident's plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents' health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well-being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
