Job summary

Majestic Care in Terre Haute is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our community nursing team. You will deliver direct hands-on nursing care to ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents daily.

The role emphasizes assisting residents with ADLs, responding to call lights, and ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy while maintaining high standards of infection control and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, state-certified CNA license.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to call lights promptly to ensure comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents to dining, lobby, and activities.
• Report significant findings to the nurse.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain safekeeping of residents' personal possessions and room cleanliness.
• Follow infection control procedures and respect privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide restorative care to prevent complications.
