Job summary

Majestic Care of Connersville is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team. The CNA will assist professional nursing personnel by delivering direct hands-on care to residents and help them achieve the highest level of functioning while maintaining independence.

The role includes performing ADLs, responding to call lights, assisting with admissions and discharges, and ensuring safety, infection control, and respectful care for residents and their families.

Qualifications

Certified and state tested as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsibilities

To perform or assist the resident with completing Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Respond to residents call lights to provide maximum comfort, safety and privacy.
Transport residents by ambulation or by wheelchair to areas of community (dining room, lobby and activities).
Report any significant findings/observations to nurse immediately.
Assist residents on admission, transfer and discharge to make a smooth transition.
Responsible for the safekeeping of residents’ personal possessions.
