Job summary

Majestic Care of Cedar Village seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team and support residents with daily needs. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health observations, report to the nursing staff, and help ensure comfort, safety, and dignity for ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents in a compassionate community setting.

Qualifications

• Certified and state tested as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL).
• Respond to call lights to provide comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair within the community.
• Report significant findings to the nurse immediately.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge for smooth transitions.
• Maintain safekeeping of residents’ personal possessions.
• Keep rooms neat and safe and follow infection control techniques.
• Respect residents’ privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide restorative care to prevent pressure sores and complications.
• Support residents and families during adjustment to the community.
