Job summary

Sunharbor Manor Nursing Home seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily care for residents per assessment and care plans. You will identify residents, document care, and escalate changes to the Nurse Supervisor as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, admissions/transfers, and maintaining a warm, safe environment. Adherence to policies and ongoing safety training are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Provide routine daily care according to each resident’s assessment and care plan.
• Report all changes in a resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Follow facility policies and procedures to ensure resident safety and quality of care.
• Participate in ongoing OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogens in-service training and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristband or photo ID before care.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts clearly and accurately.
• Report accidents and incidents on shift to the supervisor.
• Aid with admission, transfer, discharge tasks and room preparation.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding as directed.
