Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant/Clerical Assistant (CNA/CA) for the Med Surg unit at the Dearborn Hospital. The role blends clerical tasks with patient care under licensed staff supervision, requiring communication and compassion.

Part-time position with 40 hours per pay period; shifts 7:00AM–3:00PM or 3:00PM–11:00PM, including every other weekend and holiday rotation. Non-exempt status and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the practicing state.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain clerical functions for the unit.
• Greet patients/visitors and answer phones with courtesy.
• Assist with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and show compassion to patients and families.
