Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is seeking a Unit Secretary/CNA for the day shift to support the healthcare team and assist patients with daily living activities. Duties include clerical tasks under supervision and transcription of orders in the electronic system.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification required or verification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living as a CNA.
• Transcribe physician orders and enter orders in the computer system.
• Schedule and coordinate diagnostic tests and therapies.
• Assemble admission and discharge charts and maintain medical records.
• Answer calls, relay messages, and provide information to staff and patients.
