Job summary

All American Assisted Living at Enfield is seeking a Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care and support to older adults in a respectful, compassionate manner. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and comfort while following individualized care plans under licensed nursing direction.

CT or MA CNA certification is required; CPR/First Aid may be needed. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and quality of life, with teamwork and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• CT or MA CNA certification required.
• Experience assisting with activities of daily living preferred.
• Ability to follow service plans and nursing direction.
• English communication skills required for care instructions and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful and compassionate personal care to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating).
• Assist with walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers.
• Use mobility equipment safely after training.
• Provide meal assistance and dining support as needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Encourage participation in meals, programs, and activities.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly.
• Observe changes in condition and report to licensed staff.
• Document care accurately and maintain clean resident areas.
