Job summary

All American Assisted Living in Rhode Island seeks a dedicated aide to provide compassionate personal care to residents. You will assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, and daily activities while supporting independence and dignity in a respectful environment.

Responsibilities include meal support, documentation, and collaboration with nurses. A RI CNA license and strong communication skills are required; previous assisted living experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Rhode Island Nursing Assistant license required.
• Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and team members.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful and compassionate personal care to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and hygiene.
• Assist with walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers per care plans.
• Exercise proper body mechanics and use equipment as required.
• Provide meal assistance and support during dining.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Encourage participation in meals, programs, and community activities.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and call systems.
• Observe changes in condition and report to nurse or supervisor.
• Document care accurately and promptly.
• Maintain clean, safe resident living areas.
• Assist with personal laundry and light housekeeping as assigned.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality.
