Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold or obtain New Jersey CNA or PCA certification.
• Certification must remain active/in good standing.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care.
• Interest in working with older adults is essential.
• Ability to follow care plans, safety procedures, and nursing direction.
• Clear English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, respectful personal care to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Assist with walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers as per plans.
• Safely operate mobility equipment after training and competency.
• Provide meal assistance and support dining needs.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Encourage participation in meals and activities.
• Report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Follow resident service plans and safety procedures.
• Document care accurately and maintain clean living areas.
