Hamilton Pointe Health and Rehabilitation in Indiana is seeking Certified Nurse Aides to provide compassionate resident care. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, feeding, monitoring health, and maintaining privacy and dignity for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED (or working under a student permit).
• ISDH CNA certification in good standing; may work 120 days while awaiting Indiana certification.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and Word.
• Thorough understanding of safe, effective nursing practices in Indiana.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and make independent decisions when warranted.
• Discretion and HIPAA compliance; maintain resident rights and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, skin care, grooming, nail care and dressing.
• Assist with feeding, bedside water, snacks, and transfers per nutrition plan of care.
• Respond to resident call lights and requests promptly per policy.
• Maintain and organize resident rooms and belongings; ensure clean bedside area.
• Observe changes in appetite, skin condition, or behavior; report to staff.
• Provide emotional support and active listening to residents to foster trust and independence.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and document vitals and care as required.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and keep a clean work environment.
