BrightStar Care EW Home Care Corp. in Oakland County, MI is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, or HHAs for in-home care. Flexible shifts include full-time, part-time, evenings, and weekends with opportunities for advancement.

You will provide personalized support to seniors at home, including personal care, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed. The role offers competitive pay and benefits with ongoing training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification preferred
• At least 1 year of caregiving or CNA experience required
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, push, and pull as needed

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and toileting
• Taking and recording vital signs
• Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and activities
• Following individualized care plans
• Communicating important client updates to the care team
