Qualifications

• Current CNA certification preferred (where applicable).
• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of caregiving, home care, or healthcare experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with current insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist clients with mobility needs.
• Ability to pass background screening and hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Changing linens and maintaining a clean environment.
• Monitoring and documenting client condition and activities.
• Taking and recording vital signs when appropriate.
• Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Following individualized care plans under nursing supervision.
