Job summary

BrightStar Care EW Home Care Corp. is seeking compassionate Caregivers and CNAs to provide in-home care to seniors across Oakland County, MI. Join a supportive team and enjoy flexible hours, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.

As part of our care team, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and help clients stay safe and comfortable at home, guided by individualized care plans and backed by skilled office support.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving or CNA experience required.
• Current CNA certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, push, and pull as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and toileting.
• Take and document vital signs.
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and activities.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Communicate client needs and updates with the care team.
