BrightStar Care is hiring experienced caregivers and CNAs to provide high-quality in-home care to seniors throughout Oakland County, MI. We offer flexible shifts, a supportive team, and weekly pay with direct deposit.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility assistance, and transportation to appointments. Qualifications include 1 year of caregiving or CNA experience, CPR, TB test results, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving or CNA experience required
• Current CNA certification preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification
• TB test or chest X-ray negative
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, push and pull as needed

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility, transfers and toileting
• Taking and documenting vital signs
• Providing transportation to appointments, errands and activities
• Following individualized care plans
• Communicating client needs and updates with the care team
