Job summary

Frontida is seeking a 1st Shift Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, monitor safety, and support housekeeping, dining, and life enrichment tasks. This role represents Frontida’s culture and provides comfort and companionship to residents.

You will document observations, follow DHS 83 guidelines, and coordinate with the Executive Director/House Manager. Flexibility and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CBRF Training completed.
• Must actively demonstrate Frontida’s culture and exhibit extraordinary care toward Frontida’s residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, eating, etc.) per individualized service plan.
• Assist in maintenance of physical Community daily tasks (cleaning, laundry, dishes).
• Provide meals and snacks following the menu plan.
• Monitor and chart administration of residents’ medications as applicable.
• Document accidents and incidents using incident reporting forms in electronic records.
• Provide 24-hour awake care for residents.
• Follow all DHS 83 guidelines and report concerns immediately to supervision.
