Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the practicing state.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care and comfort.
• Report changes in patient condition promptly.
• May perform telemetry duties and monitor patients.
• Transport medications to RN when on unit.
• Collaborate with RNs and health care team to ensure optimal care.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities.
• Implement plan of care as delegated.
• Perform duties within scope of practice.
• Foster safety and respond to emergencies.
