Job summary

Heritage Woods of Watseka in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide individualized care according to each resident's care plan. You will assist with Activities of Daily Living while promoting independence and dignity, reporting health changes to the clinical team.

The role emphasizes respectful communication with residents and families, ongoing learning through seminars and staff meetings, and strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Current certification from an accredited CNA program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner.
• Engage in continuous learning through educational seminars and staff meetings.
• Comply with confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
