Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Merced, CA is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to support patient comfort, safety, and recovery under RN supervision. You will provide basic care, assist with mobility and transport, and contribute to the plan of care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Candidates must be a CA Certified Nursing Assistant upon hire and hold CPR/BLS. Weekend and holiday availability is required; prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CA) upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification upon hire.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Preferred: six months of experience in acute care or skilled facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate basic care under RN direction.
• Assist with patient transport and mobility.
• Document accurately and report to nurse in a timely manner.
• Participate in patient education and care planning.
• Maintain privacy and safety policies and uphold patient rights.
