Job summary

Anaheimregionalmc is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide high-quality basic nursing care under supervision of RNs and LVNs in a hospital setting. You will monitor vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and support safety and comfort of patients.

The ideal candidate has completed a CNA program, holds current CNA and BLS certification, and is able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Six months of acute hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of Nursing Assistant Course and CNA certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months acute hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes vital signs and reports changes from baselines.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Documents patient information and communicates with RN/LVN.
• Maintains patient safety and privacy; adheres to universal precautions.
• Assists with care plans and follows up on patient needs as assigned.
